This week we mostly seem to agree on some things in the tab room, but it's not clear what. Find out in Episode 44.

The Solzhenitsyn tab room

This episode sounds like the waiting room to hell, with lots of coughing and wheezing and gasping for breath. Somewhere along the way the original cast of Tab Trek (Menick, Cruz and Bietz—Palmer was off harvesting his Farmville rutabagas) discuss TOC and tabbing. Very deep into tabbing, actually. As we say in the episode, it may be too inside baseball for most people, but we think about this a lot. Our ruminations were not exactly uninfluential in getting an eighth round at TOC, for instance. Was it worth it? Listen to episode 43.

Fade to black

In our latest episode, the Three Stuffed Tomatoes (Menick, Palmer and Cruz—Bietz sat out) talk about NDCA, inevitably winding up in the region of neg bias. For reasons explained only by sun spots or the lack thereof, the podcast fades off at the end as first Palmer and then Menick and Cruz crash their Skype. But, as we point out in the program, it's not as if you're paying for this, so don't expect to get your money back any time soon. Episode 42.

Our word on the finals subject

But not our final words on the subject by any means. When last seen, the four mulemen of the apocalypse were discussing octos bids. Now they grab their critters by the tail and stare them straight in the eye, concentrating on finals bids. Episode 41.

Where do the bids go?

As TOC season approaches, the flotsam four begin discussing how tournaments should get bids. Not much is solved, and more will come next week. Episode 40.
